It is THE Mac-Daddy of the Ferrington series and I am the original owner. I have seen a KFS-1 (Strat-style body) with the diamond inlays but it had standard chrome hardware and was listed for $850 on a music re-seller website that rhymes with "tree-furb."If you're a collector, you will be hard-pressed to find another guitar like this. I have not seen another one like this anywhere. Also unique is the matching white headstock with black hardware. What makes this guitar extra special is the diamond mother-of-pearl inlays, paired with the KRAMER inlay at the 21st fret. The KFT-1 sports a bound body, rosette and headstock, whereas the KFT-2 does not. Active electronics include Volume, Treble and Bass controls, powered by a 9-volt battery. 1986 (bought new in 1987) Kramer Ferrington KFT-1, designed to play like an electric guitar and sound like and acoustic guitar. Item: 353744077301 Kramer Ferrington KFT-1 Custom.
